JESUS Suffered, Died, and Rose Again

And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: (Mark 14:34a KJV Thomas Nelson, 2016) JESUS experienced great inner heaviness (agony: a death struggle; as well as extreme external pain leading up to the crucifixion. JESUS was betrayed with a kiss. (see Mark 14:45) He was forsaken of all His disciples. (see Matthew 26:56) JESUS was denied three times by one of His closest followers. (see Matthew 26:70-74) He was led from judgement hall to judgement hall. (see Matthew 26: 57; 27:11,22) JESUS suffered being separated from The Father while on the cross, (three hours of darkness, 12noon-3pm. see Mark 15:33-34) He that knew no sin became sin for us… (2 Corinthians 5:21) JESUS physically died. He laid down His life for the sins of humanity. (see Luke 23:46) JESUS arose from the dead on the third day. Hallelujah!! (see Luke 24:2-7)
