Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work. (John 4:34 KJV biblestudytools.com) My meat (food to eat) is to do (obey) the Will of the Father. JESUS’ nourishment was doing what GOD told Him to do. His provision, sustenance; delight, was fulfilling His calling, completing the assignment that our heavenly Father had given Him. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4b) When we line up our will with the Will of the Father and do it, we eat spiritually. Obedience to GOD nourishes our inner man (spirit and soul). Let us feast on the presence of The Lord and delight to do His Will. Glory to GOD. In JESUS’ Name. Amen.
