(1 Samuel 16: 6-7 KJV biblegateway.com) Samuel, the prophet, was sent by GOD to anoint the next king of Israel. Samuel saw seven of Jesse’s sons before anointing David to become king. David was the youngest. He kept the sheep. GOD let Samuel know that David was the one. The Bible speaks of how we are not to treat those who are dressed nicely with regard, while making those who are poorly dressed take the lesser seat.
