Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. (Romans 13:8 KJV Bible (c) 2016 Thomas Nelson) When we love one another, we will pay what we owe… This does not mean that we have borrowed something that needs to be returned, nor does it necessarily mean that we have in our possession something material that belongs to another person. The debt that we owe is ‘love’. It is not merely saying “I love you” and not meaning it. It may be a listening ear, a meal together, or other.
