We may also jump, shout and run about. This is fine, if it is genuine. Saying and doing such things does not mean that our heart is unto The Lord. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. (Psalm 34:18) Contrite means “penitent” humbled by our sins and failures, seeking after God. (openthebible.org) Are we repentant and sorrowful at heart? Let our heart be true (examining ourselves and turning to GOD from sin), that we may offer a heart of praise unto The Lord. Amen.
