The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; (2 John 1:1 KJV biblestudytools.com) Through faith in JESUS Christ our Lord, we are the Bride of Christ. The Bride of Christ is a spiritual representation of God’s people, committed to Him. As God’s elect, chosen ones (the Church), we are set aside for God’s purpose. The Christian journey is for us to grow in Christlikeness. Our lives is to show the world JESUS in us. The elect lady is the Church as a whole. We are united in Christ. The children of the elect lady are its members (each born again believer in Christ). Let us live in such a way that others be compelled to come to Christ, repent of sins, and receive JESUS Christ as Lord and Savior. To GOD be the Glory. In JESUS’ Name. Amen.
