Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but to whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. (Matthew 13:9-13 KJV biblestudytools.com) JESUS shares with His disciples mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Ears to hear is the ability to understand spiritual things. JESUS opens our understanding that we may know the truth. He reveals to us what He is saying to us (what the Bible means). The measure which we mete shall be measured to us again. (see Mark 4:24) May our hearts receive the Word of GOD gladly; that we may live accordingly, and be productive citizens in the kingdom of GOD. Praise GOD for JESUS. Amen.
